Custom Designed Shields:
The price for a custom designed shield varies. The price reflects the complexity of the custom design. Here are some ideas I've painted on custom shields. You can put a cartoon character or dept. mascot in the center. I've painted American flags, Irish Flags, Shamrocks behind dept. numbers in the center of shields. Some custom shields included extra wording; for example adding last name along with rank and dept. name. Other ideas I've done are Dept. patch and motto; 2nd to None, First in Last Out, Cancel the Engine, We got It! You get the idea. The ideas for a custom design patch are endless. The most important thing to remember about a custom shield is, It's Your Idea! Don't be afraid to ask questions or give multipule ideas. This shield can be very expensive but it will reflect your ideas and the pride in your department or heritage.

When ordering a shield, payment is due at the time of the order.
To help customers orders I do a rough drawing of their shield. Once final inspection and approval is done of the drawing payment should be sent. This will secure your order and place in line. Work on Shields Will Not Start Until Payment Recieved. Average time for shield completion is 3 weeks. Please understand Custom shields can take longer. |

Standard Painted Shield:
This shield consist of all paint work. There is NO goldleaf used in the design of this shield. Painted shield will follow the same set up as described above in a standard goldleaf desgin.
Customer will have to pick one extra color for painted background.

Standard Goldleaf Shield:
A standard goldleaf shield consists of a goldleaf background. Goldleaf can be engine turned (swirled) or layed flat. Shield will have banner on the top with firefighter rank: Chief, Asst. Chief, Captian, ect. or Dept. name. Middle of the shield can be company number or bugal set with flame burst. Bottom of the shield can have Firefighter's last name, Department name, or Department initials. Customer will have to decide on colors scheme for the lettering on the shield. Customer should pick three colors. A color for letters, color for letter shadow, and color for letter outline.
